| 4th of July Fun!
Join us in Ada on July 4th for a little furry, family fun! The day starts off with the annual Independence Day parade through Ada at 10 a.m. and the festivities continue until noon with hot dogs, ice cream and refreshments back at the Critter Cottage (7205 Thornapple River Dr.) . You can enjoy a little camaraderie with other pet lovers, get a puppy kiss at our puppy kissing booth and then check out all the great new pet products in the Critter Cottage. You might even win a prize in one of our free raffles! All proceeds will go to help the animals of Vicky's Pet Connection (like the puppy shown here) so come join us for the fun.
We're looking for a few good dogs...
This year, we will be walking some of our alumni dogs in the Ada 4th of July parade. If you would love to show off your adorable alumni pooch and join us in the parade, just look for the VPC float in the parking lot by the McDonald's in Ada. Lineup for the parade is at 9:30 and the parade starts at 10. All dogs should be leashed and should have adult supervision. There will be lots of dogs, kids, bikes and plenty of parade commotion so just make sure that you have the kind of pooch that enjoys a little chaos!
