Inner City Kitties is a program that provides free cat spays and neuters for low income families, barn cats and cat colonies.  It is a service provided by Spay Neuter Express in conjunction with Vicky's Pet Connection. 

Locations:

The Spay/Neuter Express will be at 1601 Madison SE in Grand Rapids on Tuesdays from October 18th-November 15th.  

How it Works:

Surgeries are coordinated out of a mobile spay/neuter clinic, The Spay/Neuter Express

The surgeries are first come, first served with a limit of 75 cats per day. 

Registration and drop-off of cats will be from 9am-11am 

Cats will be available to be picked back up at 6pm

Low cost vaccinations, routine testing and parasite control will be available for a small fee  

How to Prepare your Cat: 
 

• Please bring the cats in seperate sturdy cat carriers with a towel.
•  Please label your carrier with your name and the cat's name. 
• Adult cats should NOT have any food or water overnight the night BEFORE surgery.
•  Kittens less then 3 pounds can have a VERY small meal the morning of surgery. 
• Please bring only healthy cats and kittens of at least 8 weeks old.
